On 25th October Kent Highways started work on the alterations that needed to be carried out on the Coxheath traffic calming scheme. These alterations are due to health and safety issues. Kent County Council will be closely monitoring the scheme over the next 6 months and will then produce a report on its performance. Cllr Brian Mortimer and Cllr Colin Parr, along with members of the Coxheath Parish Council, are due to meet with the County Council's cabinet member for Highways to receive an update on all issues relating to the traffic calming.
